Introduction

Learning the basics of English grammar is a critical foundation for any student, regardless of their native language. While all students should be introduced to the fundamentals of English grammar, there are more complex aspects which require further instruction. This course will focus on the finer points of English grammar, such as complex sentence structures, substitution and ellipsis and the use of clauses. 
Through this course, students will gain a deeper understanding of the English language and an appreciation for the nuances of its grammar.

Session Content

This course will cover a range of topics, including the use of clauses, substitution and ellipsis and complex sentence structures. Students will learn to identify different types of clauses, the proper use of substitution, and the various ways in which sentences can be constructed and combined. 
Through lectures, activities and class discussions, students will gain a strong understanding of the concepts and how to apply them to their own writing.

Learning Outcome

By the end of this course, students will have a comprehensive knowledge of English grammar, including the more complex aspects. Most importantly, they will have the tools necessary to convey their thoughts with precision, clarity, and confidence.
