Urooj is a highly accomplished computer engineer and an enthusiastic educationalist with over 13 years of experience in EdTech. She holds a degree in computer engineering and is a certified Six Sigma black belt. Urooj is an accomplished entrepreneur, a leading expert in EdTech, and a respected advisor on STREAM education.

Urooj's primary focus is on empowering children to lead their own education through project-based, STREAM learning. She provides consultancy services to schools to help them enhance their quality of education by implementing six sigma techniques.

Additionally, Urooj is actively involved in providing educational opportunities to underserved children in Pakistan. She has mentored hundreds of students and teachers from underserved schools in Pakistan who virtually participated in the international ImagineX STEM Competition, where they won first place in the middle-level category in 2020 and 2021. She has also facilitated Pakistan’s inperson participation in Destination Imagination Global Finals in 2018 and 2022. Urooj and her students (aged 8-13 years) were invited to speak at the Humans to Mars Summit in 2022, where they presented their idea about MOM (Mars Oxygen Machine). Urooj has also trained both teachers and students on AI, and her students have won the World Artificial Intelligence Competition for Youth in both 2021 and 2022.

Throughout her career, Urooj has co-founded two organizations: E-Services & Technologies in EdTech and Trade Foresight in TradeTech. She recently launched ChalkTalk, a platform aimed at connecting students with international experts from around the world, providing them with real-time learning opportunities.

Through her innovative work, Urooj has revolutionized the learning landscape in Pakistan, igniting a passion for STEM education among previously neglected students.
